Jewellery Questions
Jewellery:
For jewellery we keep all the fingerprint and pet print moulds indefinitely. Unless they have otherwise been requested to be returned to yourself. If you wish these to be returned, we always send these separately from the jewellery at an additional cost of £10 to cover the tracked return of your moulds.
Casting:
If you have a casting with us then all of our moulds and originals are recycled or destroyed. With the exception of memorial cast moulds. These are kept or returned to you on completion.
Artist Moulds:
We will happily store artist moulds whilst working on your projects. We do ask for artists to collect moulds if there is no further castings required to help save on space. There will be a signed agreement with the artist and Angelcasts to the exact specifics on permissions, storage for every artist contract.
Images:
We will never share any images of your artwork, body casting, photos of the casting session unless you have agreed to share. At every casting session, artist booking or commercial agreement. A signed agreement is made directly confirming exactly what permissions are granted.
Sometimes we ask if certain pieces can be used for advertising in magazines or latest articles. If you have agreed for this then we will use agreed images for publications. However in the context of print and articles containing a narrative, we will always check in and confirm again with you prior.
3D scanning & printing data:
We are very protective of our digital data, especially in regards to our clients and their miniature castings and also of artists and the chance for reproductions. To counter this we complete everything in house and offline. This enables us to reliably manage incredibly sensitive and personal information in a controlled and trusted way. This is why many high profile or celebrity clients choose us.
Revoking permissions:
You have the right to revoke any permissions at any time.
This will be agreed from the beginning between the involved parties prior to commencing any casting or moulding contract.
For example if you are an artist and provide a clay sculpture to the studio. You will own the copyright to the mould and the casted version. Both items belong to you provided the entire balance has been settled.
Another example, if you book in for a casting. unless you have granted permission to a mould to be reused to make samples or examples. Then the original mould will be destroyed unless you wish to keep and the cast belongs entirely to you.
